Northcentral University PhD Student Featured on Cover of Florida Publication

When you are making a difference in your field and community, it can be hard for people not to notice.

Last week, it was John Sell, high school English teacher and NCU PhD in Education student who was recognized as Teacher of the Year in Delaware for doing what he does every day—inspiring students to learn.

This week, it’s Cedrick Gibson, a veteran educator and assistant dean of business technology at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida, who is also pursuing his PhD in Business Administration with a specialization in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University.

Gibson is featured on the cover of this quarter’s Treasure Coast Progress & Innovation quarterly report for his work in helping students and aspiring entrepreneurs find success in the business world.

According to the article, Gibson has made his mark as a change agent in the local education and business communities, “expanding [Indian River State College’s] business education and training programs, including a career development offering where individuals trying to return to the workplace can earn a business management certificate.”

Read the full article to learn more about Gibson and his passion for small businesses and entrepreneurship.

The PhD in Organizational Leadership program at Northcentral University is designed for business leaders looking to strengthen their knowledge of business and management practices while exploring what drives overall success in a company, institution or agency.
